I like this. It's always exciting to travel to another country and see these old world images. L/F

Lovely piece, Claude! Best of luck in THE GALLERY WALL Group "Member's Friends Contest" to find a new group logo!

I like everything about this one, Claude. The Old World charm of the scene itself could be found in a city, town or village of any size. Because of the shabby look, I feel as if I am wandering the back streets, turn a corner, and come upon this perfect composition. The triad of objects - broom, bicycle, window - holds my interest. And I want to reach out and touch the various background materials; from the bricks to the peeling plaster to the chipping paint to the ripples of the corrugated metal, the patterns and textures are almost palpable. Finally, I just love the turquoise and rust palette which I find both eye catching and simple enough to hold the entire image together. Wonderful work.
